Dame Edna, that sassy, sarcastic, flamboyant and hysterical cross-dressing creation of Australian Barry Humphries, is back with a follow-up to her Tony Award-winning “Dame Edna: The Royal Tour” with a riotous and audience-interactive sequel where she sings, dances, banters and even gives psychic readings and counseling all while showing off a new wardrobe that makes Liberace’s sequins look subtle by comparison. “Dame Edna: Back With a Vengeance!” is touring fresh from a season on Broadway where Humphries perfected this material and is only in town for a week before moving on. One of the show’s features is a spoof of American reality shows with a Dame Edna take, and those ravishing “Ednaettes.” (Dennis Polkow)
