Two vibrant but contrasting cultures that represent the starting point and destination of the historic Silk Road will share the stage side by side as two area-based dance troupes, Indonesian Performing Arts Chicago and Baladina Dance Company compare and contrast the movement, music and costumes of traditional Indian and Middle Eastern dancing, respectively, as part of the free Journey Along the Silk Road lunchtime presentations that are part of Silk Road Chicago: Summer 2006.
