A new showcase on the near Southside, “Stand-Up Night/ Air Guitar Contest/ $1 Taco-Palooza” features the funniest comics on the local scene and an opportunity for the aspiring air-guitarist to win prizes, including Sox and Cubs tickets. Past comedians have included established scenesters like Junior Stopka and Brendan McGowan, as well as funny up-and-comers like Katt. A large bar and a great stage with plenty of room to let loose make Reggie’s a perfect for both comedy and faux face-melters. One-dollar tacos and three-dollar microbrews (including Delirium) only sweeten the deal.
