Bronzeville comedy club Jokes and Notes, the self-proclaimed “only African-American comedy club in Chicago,” celebrates its ongoing success and ability to be a functioning, successful comedy club that isn’t on the North Side and called Zanies. To celebrate, Jokes and Notes has booked comedian Talent, an edgy, black performer who has made appearances on “Showtime at the Apollo” and BET’s stand-up benchmark “Comicview.” This is a great opportunity to broaden your comedy horizons.
