META|MOR|PHOS: A Triadic Fiction

Hedwig Dances’ artistic director Jan Bartoszek, in collaboration with the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, reimagines Oskar Schlemmer’s 1922 vision of man/machine symbiosis as a meditation on nature through the three stages of insect life. Also on the program, Los Angeles-based Mike Tyus’ “SYZYGY”—also a reflection on balance, cycles and connectivity.
